Rit Dye other than black

Has anyone ever dyed their chassis any color other than black and can they post pics if they have them? Thanks. I was thinking about green or red dunno how it would turn out.

not everything...
you can go darker but you can not go lighter, when dying...

I am gonna use the green tomorrow or tonight if I can rip it all apart tonight, and 87 I was noticing on that other thread that you put grease in your transmission gears, can u use white lithium grease in there?

mine just came out a sweet green color i love it, its going to look so sweet. i am going for the Green Hornet look

I use the powder...have not tried the liquid yet...

I just found out that you can't trust the liquid because it can go bad. I picked up some liquid sunshine orange, scarlet and cherry red. The orange and cherry red were thick and dyed white rims quickly (7-8min). The scarlet was very thin and the color it produced was a violet-vomit color, rather than a bright red. It must have gone sour or something. lol

So I ordered some scarlet and tangerine powder - I'm looking to make some bright, red rims. I have some rims that I'm sacrificing to test the dyes.

You can get a bright blue with Rit Dye. In the photo below (belongs to rubix_cube_mast), rockers were dyed with Royal Blue. I think to match the Traxxas blue, you may want to mix Royal Blue with Aquamarine. I've been studying dyes this past week. lol
