    2065

Has anyone ever rebuilt a 2065 servo? I managed to strip the 2064 gears and Im going to replace them but I was wondering how the servo horn was clocked for best performance..

If it were me I'd probably just replace the whole servo for no more than they cost. Unless you have the gears on hand. My main reasoning being if that little of a servo stripped the gears the rest of the internals may have been compromised. MAYBE...that's just me being to overly cautious like I tend to be.

With whatever you decide to do:
Take a picture before you remove the horn so you can reference kinda where the original was, that will get you close, but you will probably have to adjust the linkages regardless to eliminate the humming. A humming servo is an unhappy servo.
