    running two batteries

Ok, i want to run two batteries in series. I have the connector but my question is; can i run different cell count and c ratings in series? at the moment i have a traxxas 3s 5000ma 25c and a gene ace 2s 5000ma 50c.

    thanks for the help

yes, and no. That would be as one 5s.

But with that said. I and probably many others would say, Only run same brand of lipos( so get another traxxas 2s 5000 pack) same C rating and mah. Also, try to keep packs together with the same state of usage . What's going to happen here is that the traxxas pack probably is going to put some stress on the 2s pack.I'm not a lipo expert, but you might get away with it since you have a 2s 50c to a 3s 25c rating. But I would make some easy runs in whatever truck you are going to use it in, and have a lvc on the 2s pack, ore stop and check voltage often.

thanks for the reply max. i think ill pick up another gene ace 2s and call it a day. i cant control the thing on 3s so 5s will be beyond my skill level at the moment. 4s should be just about right!
