    Narrow wheel options?

Any one try Proline Tech5 wheels with RC4WD Mudslingers?
I know the Tech5 wheels fit, size specs on the mudslinger
matches the wheel diameter. But may not be "Traxxas" style
bead. Thanks. Just bought another Summit used off of e-bay
that has Mudslingers on wide Axial beadlocks. Looks a little
    Weird for my tastes.

Proline Tech5 wheels are not a Traxxas bead style wheel they are just a standard 40 Series. I'm not sure what bead style the Mudslingers are but would assume they are NOT Traxxas style and are standard 40 Series.

The only thing I dont like about the Tech5's is that they are zero offset; you loose that additiaon 1" of track width. So bad wish somone would come back out with a Narrow 3.8" wheel with a 1/2" offset.

I hear ya. Just because its not a 1/10 crawler or short course
size. Also just want to mention how great Traxxas support is.
I guess I'll try narrowing the ones I have. Thanks for the info.

If they don't have an offset they might come into contact with the arm or rods while turning...
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Yeah, just looking for a different option to Axial wheels. Rocksters and 8-hole narrow beadlocks seem to be out of production. If they are they aren't in stock anywhere. I have read a few forum posts on how to narrow my current wheels which are the AX8042 style in black. Not my favorite but thats what came with the truck. may buy some holy roller rings to change up the look. I know the topic has been beat to death but where do I find the deals on DeWalt 14.4 motors and brushes? I cant seem to find them. Don't care if I need to cut off the pinion or solder wires or whatever. Thanks for the input.
