Thinkin of converting my summit to an E slayer, what are my body options??
Pro line has some otpions, like your flo tek, and silverado race truck. I also believe you can run SC8 body think cameron from the erevo section used one on his e-slayer. Check my build I run the pro line flo tek on mine.
So what do I have to do to get a regular Slayer pro wheel base out of my summit? Slayer pro arms, et, but something about flipping the rear arms to shorten the wheel base?
I havn't heard much of "flipping the arms"... I know if you have a normal Slayer, and you buy a E-Revo chassis (or Summit) you can put it on the Slayer, and all you have to do is swap out the chassis, no other mods really needed. Hope this helps!![]()
DeWalt 1/8 Summit, Slash XL-5, Slayer Pro 3.3.
You'd have to get the slayer pro arms, pushrods, tierods, cv shafts. than you should be good. I'm not sure about flipping the rear arms around. Never really wanted a shorter wheel base.
So the new proline body and regular slayer pro body have the proper wheel base for a summit / revo chassis with slayer pro arms?
Yes, I believe so. Good luck!So the new proline body and regular slayer pro body have the proper wheel base for a summit / revo chassis with slayer pro arms?![]()

SC8 shell works great on the ERBE chassis. I use one for my E-SlayerPro4x4 and one on my ERBE-GT Racetruck

Why change the transmission?
It has a one-way bearing so that when the spur gear is spun the opposite way (reverse) the transmission will not engage. If you don't switch it or at least lock it, you'll need to use the brake to slow and will not have reverse.
