    TRX-1 trans questions

Today I got my hands on a box of vintage parts thinking I could use them for my Blue Eagle. Most of the parts I can. But the trans looks like something from a AE 2wd. Based on exploded views its pretty much the same thing as a TRX-1 trans. Its missing a few diff parts but its mostly there.

What other vehicles had that transmission?

Is it worth finding the last few parts and running it?

And will it mount to say a Blue Eagle chassis and use the same motor mount?

I probably should clarify. It is a TRX trans (TRX logo on side). It just looks like something from AE. Its black so most likely the case was a replacement. But other than the TRX-1 I cant think of what else it could be from. If need be I can post some pics tomorrow.

A pic should help, I don't know about AE, trans could be from a TRX-1 or TRX-3/TCP? Those are pretty similar...

    That's a TRX-1 tranny. 2791 is the number.
Simply the best. The beautiful Traxxas SRT and TCP

Yep, TRX-1 trans. The TRX-3 is very similar, but there are some minor differences.

Well I have no desire to really use this transmission. I already have one that is near impossible to get parts for. So if anyone happens to need a TRX-1 trans with 95% of the parts, slipper & spur, gray motor plate and bearings toss me a message. Its missing the three small screws for the diff and one of the washers that goes against the thrust bearing. Also missing the screws to hold it to the motor plate.
