they do have a good reputation but i rarely see those gears go bad. i think where most people have issues are the planetary gears inside of the diff case.

^^ i'll second that. i havent killed many ring gears but something that is even better is always on my list. i want to see traxxas upgrade the diff input bearing size to a bigger one that will take more load. i upgraded the bearings to better ones but havent tried them yet. the weather isnt on my side over here, but i cant see them lasting that much longer, even the ceramics. the bearing is just too small for the amount of power going through them.

Correction: "Hard steel diffs" not Hardened steel diffs but they still gotta be better.

There are some diff cups by Integy and Hot Racing out there on ebay right now. Theres some from Golden Horizons but they dont say if it will work for the E revos, just the nitros. (which i thought the nitro cups dont have the slot for the i-bars)

Thanks mate...I bought those back in July when I was stripping gears every day of the week. I didn't even try these; I did the Losi mod which I am very happy with.

I will use these in my new build...which will only run 4s. I have the stock gears in there for now.
    Rock n Rolla !
