Rally Carnage!!!

O.G. did you already smash your Rally? Did you really run it on 3s even though you promised yourself you wouldn't???

Of course I did. I was right in the middle of a sweet, sweet power slide at about 30mph when a 1/2" rebar imbedded in asphalt jumped right in front of my car and the side impact snapped my front driver's side A-Arm.

Now the Rally is out of service until the LHS opens Tuesday... pics below:

Man OG! First one to un-box, first on to crash, first one to post carnage, & first one to have to replace stock parts because of this. You have a ton of First's there but not to the finish line!! LOL j/k Very good reason to go out and start replacing stock.

I might replace my Front a-arms with RPM that I forgot that I had. I might need to look my stock over and see what I got for upgrades. LOL

I'm guessing no damage to the body??

Why don't you take a arm off your Slash 4x4 and keep running the Rally?

I think that's what I'm going to do, I just sold my ERBE. So I think I'll keep my sl4sh PE (for sale at the moment). I'm going to take all the aluminum upgrades off it, MIP CVD's, sway bars, ten-t shocks, raptor svt body, rpm stuff etc.... And it will all be there for when my rally needs it LOL. Then ill buy all stock stuff that I took off the sl4sh and just sell the Sl4sh roller. Also got a MMP/2400/3800/1258TG ready to go in. Oh ya that's right I said no upgrading, it's all there though just INCASE

I had the body off for my speed runs so I could see the gps so no damage to the body... but the body may have prevented the damage.

I hate to rob parts off other trucks but I may do it to get running again. Good idea.

I had a great time running til it broke, sliding around the parking lot.

I would have thought I had the reputation of owning shelf queens more. The only truck i'm totally hard on is my Slash. I do things with it that my others would never see the light of day with. The next one is my P4de that I take out and bash really hard. Those chassis designs are tough as nails. I have rarely broken things that couldnt be fixed quickly. LOL

Now i'm going to have a blast with my Rally, just havent decided on if i'm going to take it to the ramp. I'm going to let OG see how well the body holds up first. LOL What do you say??

We are all living vicariously through you, O.G.!! I feel like it was me that broke the car. As soon as I saw the pictures, I was mentally looking over my workbench for spare A-amrs to fix this - oh my, I need a life!

The "ORANGE ONE" would have snapped the rebar off, stood over top of the broken piece on the ground and shrugged its shoulders as if to say...."Dang, that falls into the 'sucks to be you' category". Then drove off with tires growling!
