I just bought my emaxx from my friend about a week ago but I ran it today and I stated to here a cranking noise it only happens when I accelerate forward hard I can go in reverse fine but if I accelerate to hard I here it if I start out slow it's fine. Could this be a diff?? Any help is appreciated

A few people make aluminum diff housings that can help prevent this from happening again.

Im not sure what or if there is a difference between 2.5 and 3.3 diff housings.

I'm new to this and I been looking for a video on removing the diff but I can't find anything. I'm really scared to mess this thing up.

Go ahead and tear the rear of your truck apart, youre going to have to learn sometime!

That is how you put it back together :P It helps if you have the proper tools to do the job too.

Something like that and a good quality philips head and screw driver are always handy.
