You can use WD-40 as after run oil, use it when you are going to store your Revo for more than one or two nights. (As you would do when using normal after run oil)

I used to use after run oil years ago but nowadays I just use wd40 in all my engines. Works great! WD-40 should be a must have item on any RCer's workbench, it's got so many uses in this hobby.

For the Traxxas engine WD-40 is fine but I would be careful in some other engines, Wd-40 can cause damage to the silicon ramp that is used in the crank of some of them. I would check with engine manufacturer first, some would be fine but some engines may be damaged. The 3.3 is fine though.

wd-40 works as good if not better. Thats all I ever used. If you're only storing it for a day or so then you don't need it.

TRX3.3 = TRX2.5R with bigger piston and sleeve, literally.
