At what point is it not a Stampede any more?

Or will it always be a Stampede since thats what it started as?

I see a lot of people swapping chassis and bodies here. Do you still consider it a Stampede after you put a different chassis on it and a body meant for a different model? My son and I had this conversation a couple days ago. We pretty much agreed that whatever it turns into, its still a Stampede. Just curious what others that have done this refer to their vehicles as.

We're planning on picking up Slash 4x4 chassis, larger wheels/tires and using E-Maxx bodies sometime in the near future. Then usng the left over parts, slowly build up two more Stampedes.

We've just started in this hobby a little more than a month ago and its getting addicting.

I think it is all a matter of opinion but in my head it is really based off of which chassis you are using. If the chassis remains a Pede chassis then it is a Pede, if you convert it to a Slash chassis the truck is then closer to a Slash so it becomes a Slash....just my opinion.

I'm with Dad on this one. I replaced replaced quite some parts, but I have the feeling the heart is still a Stampede.
Body, wheels, arms, drive shafts, shocks, motor, ESC, and what not are not stock anymore, but for me it's still my Stampede.

well imo its still what it started out life as. my started out as p4de, even tho it now has the slash chassis on it...its still a pede at heart lol. thats why i call it a pedash instead of a slapede lol.
