    My Blue Eagle

    Hey Guys,

Some time ago, I got a nice Blue Eagle LS (which was disassembled, cleaned, whitened and will be assembled soon with all the right parts) and I also wanted to have a Blue Eagle, so, I got all the parts from eBay and this is what I have so far...

I have all the parts to finish it and the only used part is the rear body mount, everything else is brand new... As I did with all my other vintage trucks, the shocks and the motor mount were anodized in blue again...

Something I noticed, is that, this chassis doesn't have the holes for the steering servo, strange... I will not drill them just in case...

And, the only thing "missing" is the white gear cover, but, I have it in black...

Hope you like it so far...

    Daniel.

Looks great! Were are you finding all of the shocks and the motor plates?!?!?! You have them on like 3 vehicles now lol. I have found the rear shocks for my TRX1, but the front shocks and the motor plate continue to elude me without a trace!

Thanks!!! Actualy, I bought everything like 6 months ago from different sources in the US and UK (for all the trucks you saw here) but, I don't have much free time to build them, so, everything was sitting inside a box waiting to be assembled... And, yes, they are hard to find, I need a new/used set now for my LS-II project...

Yup, not even Traxxas has them... The motor mount can be replicated quite easily, but the motor rear cover is another story...

Gee whiz Daniel,I'm running out of suitable compliments. And it is not easy to leave me speech-less!

If you keep collecting and building such beautiful Vintage Traxxas RCs, you are going to have to open a South American Traxxas Museum.

Well, it's almost done, I have to install the 4 screws on the shock collars and cut the clear tranny dust cover, but, it's 4am here and I'm going to bed now... I'll post a video in the next few days...
