Hello.
The Trenchers on 3s when on tarmac look like plates. Are there any 12mm hex compatible wheel/tyre combo's that are good for tarmac and 3s power? I want them ready to run I do not really want to be taping and gluing if possible.![]()

Have a look at street fighters on desperados part no.1181-12 they should be better for high speed runs
Famous last words...watch this!!!!
Street fighters balloon quite a bit . They are much smaller but G Locs dont balloon nearly as much and perform very well on pavement. They are just a lot smaller than a typical Monster truck tire.

I was going to say G-locs as well. They are pretty small in diameter so you'll loose some speed. They don't eliminate ballooning either but they're they best I've seen without modifications. I'd be affratid my Trenchers would rip off the wheels at 3s speeds!!
They won't balloon too much if you tape them.

g-locks with lowered body ftw! At least on tarmac

Yes, taping them is a very good idea!

I ordered a set of Dynamite roadrunners that I'm going to try. I've only seen them in 17mm though.
My Black & Blue Rally is faster than your color...
As an RC hobbyist you need to get comfortable with taping/gluing wheels and tires. It's the only way to get where you really want to be. It is not hard to prepare new stuff, but just wait until you have to remove and replace the tires by cooking or soaking them in chemicals....uggghhh!
