    Question brushless motors

    what is the difference between a 18.5 brushless crawling motor and a 18.5 brushless spec motor

    Could be anything...could be nothing. Need more specs than that.

    Is one Censored and one not? Censored would be better for crawling.

    both are sensored, 540, same turn same size
    will the crawler have more torque

    If there both the same KV they shouldn't. Can you post links to the two?

    The difference is in the description. The crawler has 14mm rotor and the the other has a 12.3mm. The 12.3 will should have better acceleration and the 14 will have more torque. I would go with the 14. You can gain acceleration with batteries and gearing. Torque is mostly gained through motor performance and gearing. And actually, I would go with the 13.5. 18.5 is 4400kv. You will get more torque out of the 13.5 and have more gearing/battery options.

    Both are fairly small motors, so I would watch temps if you try to gear it up or run 3/4S.
