remember the more cells & higher the C rating.........the more power~speed
the higher the mAh the longer the run time

and this for finding amps

( mah x c rating / 1000 = amps)

The more amps the better

The ESC will only draw the amount of amps it needs.

Like 87 GN said we can only post traxxas products here. But for racing you will probably need a hard case 2s lipo at 7.4 volts which is usually what your allowed to use when racing. And at the very least I would have at least 41000 mah.
