    Bulkhead in half :(

i went out for a morning bash and i noticed the rear wheels didn't move, the first i though it was the diffs but on closer inspection the bulkheads had snapped in half i think i hit a curb hard on the previous run and snapped it

    anyway here are some photos

Is there any way to strengthen the bulks? i haven't tried the rear brace mod yet, does it work or should i try those integy aluminum bulkheads and dremel them to fit the lst diffs, Oh and that white stuff you see is polyurethane mixed with superglue i put it on the bulkhead to strengthen it. Is the kershaw designs aluminium chassis any good? this is the 5th bulk i've gone through btw and i REALLY want the e revo to stop breaking. sigh..if only rpm made bulkheads for the revo :/

May I also suggest to you my own mod to try and see what happens???? Go to the link below at post 45, its the double upper braces mod.

Take'n off to much material, or any material to get the LST2 diff to fit......will weak'n the bulks.
just can win, strengthen on area & weaken another...
Would you go flip my truck back over??

no doubt the bulk weakens when moded for the lst diffs to fit but doesnt this also occur with stock bulkheads that are not moded???? at the same exact position? The main issue is due to the plastic chassis which flexes alot at both ends. Thats why people that use Rc solutions rollcage experience a lot less breakage of bulkheads.

the breakage looks like chassis flexes to its limit and snap off at that point.

Yeah mate...Ive broken 1 rear bulkhead in the past long before the Losi mod and recently a front bulkhead. I removed even less material this time for the Losi diff....holding up strong still.

Good luck with the Alu bulks.
