    Break in time

This is my first posting so not really sure what's going on, I just bought a nitro stampede , I've been told a few ways to brake it in, open for a few suggestions.

Open the manual and read the break-in method recommended by those that engineered and built the engine.

As Double G stated above, you need to consult the Nitro Stampede manual (found here). The manual will walk you through Traxxas' break in process.

Nope, deviation from the recommended break in method is not advisable.
