Discharging A NiMH 8.4 Volt Battery?
I know I been posting a lot of threads of mainly questions. But I really want to get into this stuff.
So to discharge a NiMH battery from a charger, I set it at 1 amp and 0.9 volts which take 120 minutes of discharging. Now would I be able to set the charger at a higher amperage and go above 0.9 volts for a faster, still as effective of a discharge on a NiMH battery?

multiply #of cells by 0.9 to get correwct CUT OFF voltage for discharge.
-
That calculates to 6.3. So I can discharge at 6.3 Amps while the voltage is at 0.9 volts?
-
It will cut off at 6.3. That is the minimal discharge voltage.

Thanks.
