The Mamba Max would make the stock motor perform better but you would need to change the ends on one or the other.

The castle escs with the vxl motor is a great combo! That's what I use. Castle Sidewinder SV2, you can search this forum on how to mount it or go to www.e-revo.net

use that for short runs though on flat ground as it will heat the motor up fast.

ok so i got the correct female ends for the esc and soldered them on. My next problem is that my mamba is not running properly on a full battery. sounds like only 50%. and sometimes if i gun it it will go and slowly de-celerate while im still holing full throttle.

I was surprised when I made a few 60+mph runs on 4 cell it wasn't too hot
Definitely not a setup for the whole pack of usage but it was fun!

How insane would it be If you stuck the mamba max pro and esc (1/8 scale) from the xo-1, into the 1/16 slash or erevo

So with the different ESC is there more power? and if there is more power how much? and with the extra power, could it damage my diffs?

really is more tuneable and won't get as hot . only hard on the diffs if you run more voltage like 3s or 4s
