    TRAXXAS FORD F150 RAPTOR With Brushless

    TRAXXAS FORD F150 RAPTOR With Brushless, the top speed im running is 33MPH now with that bing said i used the 23t 86Spur but if i remeber right even brushed the car stock goes 30mph why am i only getting 3 extra mph? im using the Velieneon 3500 brushless motor

    the esc may be in training mode. that would only get the motor %50 power. if you hold the esc button down for a few second it will blink once then let it go that will put your esc in full power. this is all in the manual too and is the same for the xl5 esc and vxl esc. well hope that helps

    Is this truck new? Maybe something in the drive train is binding causing a severe load or drag. Is the motor or ESC getting hot?

    What are you using to determine the trucks speed?

    ya maybe ur drive train or something/ is it making any noise for anywhere?

    dont worry its all fixed i got a 3s lipo went 62mph shreed my 86t gear so i may need to get a metal one

    Don't get a metal spur. And you shouldn't be stripping spurs, check your mesh.

    Can't go that fast with those gears. 23/86 gets you 50ish. I hit 51 on 3s .

    Go 32 pitch no gear cover needed and you won't strip out anymore spurs. Just get the spur and pinion for a 4x4

    Id rather strip the 4 dollar plastic spur gear then to transfer a bad load to my transmission...
