so the front wheels were grinding so I pulled the front diff apart and the two little gears are toast! Where should I look? Do I have to buy a whole new diff or can I get just the two gears I need?

I have heard that eBay is the best place to buy full diff sets...

Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
You can also get just the spider gears if you choose that as well # 5382x
Having a spare diff doesn't hurt either
Sent using lipo power

as always you guys rock! I'll get a set of spider gears off e-bay. Is this common (stripping them out) I do run it hard, I'm not easy on it by any stretch.
I would see if Robinson makes a set for the Summit.
Their gears are the best and I used Robinson's gears back years ago when I was stripping TMaxx gears.
They don't.

The same gears are in the EMaxx, ERevo, and I think the Revo and TMaxx.
There is one company that has produced a hardened set, but I am not sure if they are in production yet.

Good luck with the rebuild...make sure you shim that diff; to get better gear mesh and longer life. It would be handy to keep 20mm, 8mm and 6mm shims on hand to shim a summit diff. I am a firm believer in diff shimming.
Rock n Rolla !
