You will gain a good performance boost and longer runtimes. Meaning the powerband is stronger from start of the pack till LVD/ LVC kicks in. Are you running the brushed Xl-5 or the brushless VXL-3S sytem or another aftermarket setup?

    Traxxas XL-5 or VXL-3S:
    Stage 1: 3.6v 50% Power
    Stage 2: 3.3v Cuts Power

A little info on the Lipo pack you just picked up. mah x "c" = A, ex. 5000 mah x 40c = 200a. Not sure of the brand, but that pack should perform quite nice.

It's really going to depend on a few things. How well the pack is taken care of by you and the charger, the brand of pack, WOT & heavy braking, and when your LVD/ LVC kicks in. I run my packs to 3.7v and shut them down. That's just my stopping point. I own some 5000, 5200, 5400, & 5800 packs. They range from 40 - 60 minutes depending on my driving.
