    RC Aerial Lenth

    Hay all,

I have been looking through the t-maxx pictures and have noticed a lot of trucks with very short or no aerials at all above the body shell, I really like the clean look of them but how badly does it effect the range of the radio gear? Is it just for looks or do people out there run there trucks like this?

It's the 2.4ghz radio that comes with the short antenna. It doesn't need the old school long antenna to stick out the top since the signal is much stronger. You don't need crystals or have to worry about interference from another radio. By no means should you cut your AM antenna, you will lose range and ruin it.
