    sway bar install

    Hey guys,
I bought a set of sway bars for my pede 4x4 from Tower hobbies and it didn't come with any collars or instructions. Does anybody have any instructions or pics of thier swaybars so I can figure out how to mount them? Any help at all would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the help!!!!

You should have gotten the bars, 4 screws, and 4 links. The front bars get screwed in right behing the front bulkhead, and the back one gets screwed in right behind the back bulkhead (you will see the little channel). After that you just have to attach the links from each side of the bar to the arms.

Sorry took so long to get to you all. Tower sent me the wires but didn't send me the collars or the links. I guess I will call them and see why not. Thanks for your help guys.

Are you sure you ordered the correct part because you can order just the bars without the hardware.

The part number are from #6895 to #6898:

#6895 Linkage, front sway bar (2) (assembled with rod ends, hollow balls and ball studs)
    #6896 Wires, sway bar (front & rear, hard & soft) / 3x6 FCS (4)
#6897 Linkage, rear sway bar (2) (assembled with rod ends, hollow balls and ball studs)
#6898 Sway bar kit (front and rear) (includes front and rear sway bars and adjustable linkage)

The last one is the complete kit. You maybe just bought the wires.
