LCG Slash 4x4 = The Soon Coming Traxxas 1/10 Rally Car?!!!!

Is this a joke or is this serious? Ken Block went to a Traxxas competitor and the car looks pretty darn good so I was trying to do some research on it when I found this:

"New from Traxxas is the 1/10 Rally! A few weeks ago we mentioned that we had heard about a LCG Slash chassis coming soon from Traxxas. Well it looks like they went ahead and made a Rally car with it!
It will come with the TQi radio system, a Velineon brushless system, and boasts 60mph speeds! The new LCG 4wd chassis and Rally cross suspension should have it ripping up the dirt something fierce.
It will be available in three colors, red, blue, and green, and should be shipping very soon.

Rally is the ‘HOT’ thing right now, and it’s good to see Traxxas be able to react pretty quickly and come out with a product of their own. The lack of a licensed body is a bit surprising, but would of just added on more cost down the line for the consumer."

I hope this is serious, but Traxxas will keep my business then. I had a Slash for a few weeks before I returned it and picked up my XO-1. If this is true I will be able to semi-drift a car and still be able to afford to replace the tires!

i like the ssc lcg chassis...but...i like the whole three diff thing...so if it doesn't have that...it's a no go for me...

i wish traxxas would just quit trying to cut corners and come up with a bullet proof basher/racer no holds bar...charge watever they want to cover their cost and still make some dough....and i'll buy the darn thing...

well all you really need for a rallycross car is a slash4x4 and the new proline festiva body insert your choice of tire and woola but the new car if true sound like it could be some fun

The insides look nice, but I'd have to buy a body for it real quick because it is U-G-L-Y. Other than that, what amounts to an LCG Slash straight from Traxxas? Sweet!

This is cool, there's a lot of 1/10 touring car body's out there to choose from. I have a e 4tec with the vxl in it and love it but would like something more modern, adjustable and stronger.

Don't dismiss the possibility yet, by the look of it the receiver fits below the front shock tower, two holes there should fit, only question is the esc, you can always tap and drill if there is not a pre fitted space for it. 2200 is 75mm 2650 68 mm.
