    do i have to have a lipo balencer to charge a lipo

    it is best to balance charge .if one cell is higher than the other(s) it can over charge . if it's a newer pack you might be ok . if you have a voltmeter and some pins you can check the voltage through the balance plug to see if they are close

    Balancing also helps increase the life of the lipo and run quality on the car.

    Traxxas recommends always balancing their LiPos. Support of other LiPos is not permitted on the Traxxas forum.
    I know they're having their break there by your brake drums. No, you're not invited.
