Recommended clear bodies to paint?

For those who enjoy customizing and painting their own RC bodies, which ones stand out as the best options for the Stampede 4X4? I'm looking for a combination of solid construction (for bashing), but also a good "blank slate" surface on which to create my Green Bay Packers Truck/Car.

Right now I'm eyeing up the Hummer H2 SUT Clear Body as a possible option. (Good surface areas)

One thing I'm finding challenging is determining if many of the RC bodies on Amazon will really fit the Pede 4X4 or not. For example, Hobby Products International 7184 1969 Dodge Charger Body is another one I'm interested in, but unsure of the fit...

Any recommendations for a good clear body? (please, no pimple cream jokes)

I bought the Proline 50's Chevy. I love the look of it. I wish I had done the tape and shoo glue thing before I used it though. I'm now patching it as I go along and it has a lot of tape and glue now. Looks ace though. Proper beat up old Chevy. Haha

i've seen alot of people use the old t-maxx clear bodies. there are several in the picture part of the forum that look stunning.

Do the 2WD and 4x4 have the same body post positioning? Bodies are interchangeable? I thought they'd be different...

They are the same i think but i am a little soft in the head after having no sleep because my baby boy is teething at the mo...peace

They must be as my shell was on my 2pede before I upgraded it....and ther are no extra holes....not for body posts anyway. :-)
