Yes she most certainly is.. She has been showing up at my saturday night races lately bringing my two young daughters thats what got me to get them their own cars.. They don't run with us, but will be running before we "race"... My 18 year old son runs with us... too bad we run in the dark and the cars generally get destroyed each weekend.. but half the fun is rebuilding them for the next time.. Unfortunately we have to bring several cars each to the "races" or you will be quickly watching from the sidelines.. My wife used to cringe when we crashed, but now just laughs.. Its addictive, but expensive as well...These races are mostly run with HPI RS4's and Sprint 2's during the summer and when it gets colder, we run only Slashes.. No other cars will stand up to the abuse that we put them thru.. its not for the meek..

Only five? Why, you're just getting started. I have a bunch, but I'm constantly selling cars and parts off and getting different ones. I'm forty and I can't wait to get in the basement to tinker around and build Rc creations! Currently I have....

I've had like 2 1/16 rallys, 2 slash 4x4's, tmaxx, embe, crt.5, merv, p4de, rustlers, and a bunch of others Im probably forgetting.

Boxes of BNIP upgrades and stock replacements, probably a 5:1 ratio of bodies/rc's LOL, wheels, tires, like 18 Lipos. 3 chargers. The wife used to never say a thing, now she's kinda starting to complain a bit.

BUT............

Compared to some of the posts I have seen, im a noob

Oh man! That's a toughy. Both of them highly upgraded. In stock basher form I like the ERBE better and I feel its stronger. That's just me, plus it has a longer wheelbase. I really havent messed with either one of them in a while. I have some additions I need to do to both of them. They are begging me to take them for a run. LOL

You know the ERBE can be setup as an onroad, SC Truck, and a big bad summit. They all share most of the same parts and doesnt take much to convert one to the other. Not sure this helps. If you are interested in one. The best thing is to test drive one and see if you like how they drive.

You guys are lucky. You don't suffer from the vintage addiction. I have 3 Rc trucks and they all are Traxxas SRTs. The problem with my addiction is you're always trying to hunt down every single discontinued or rare part just to have it. Look at Daniels vintage rc and 3TRx...is never stops. I now want a LS-2 and TCP/TRX-3

Does anyone remember the "LaTrax" 30 mph cars from the early 80's? I had two and if I remember they did around 30mph which was very fast back then... I had the silver Corvette......

Used to run them at the then called "Jack Murphy stadium".

I collect LaTrax toys. There are so hard to find these days.

I remember the Latrax R/C's very well going back to 1980. I never had one as a kid. But I still remembered the Mustang Cobra and the Trans am. Those cars are commanding for a lot of money these days. Take a gander at this:

I sold all my rc stuff about 3 years ago, due to 2 babies and buying a house.in late August this year I bought a slash 4x4, went crazy upgrades out the gate. I just ordered a grave digger and a new 1/10 rally , and got my boy son UVA digger. Yes it is an addiction, not to mention the front of my garage is becoming my personal hobby shop.

I just got my 30th anny digger and my 1/10 rally,also son UVA digger for my 3yo bday. To go along with my fully upgraded slash4 I bought in late August. Yes they were just a metal box that could have been purchased from most electronic supply houses in thoes days. They had a view meter on them to show how much battery life left in the transmiter..... Big time stuff back then....
