    Center Diff

My Slayer Pro tends to seem more rear wheel drive than four wheel drive. Does it have a open center diff stock? Would the center diff with a thick oil fix that?

Just a straight shaft with a gear on it, no diff in the transmission unless it was installed there.

If it has a straight shaft with a gear shouldn't that be even power to both front and rear?

The final drive gear is different between the Revo and Slayer so it will be a different kit. And yes, if it has the original forward-only conversion then power goes to the front and back equally. It could be there is a stripped hex up front so the power is unloading there. Or naturally the truck squats under power and the rear tires have more traction.

The truck has only 1 1/2 quarts of fuel through is so I'm assuming its just the truck squats

I just got my center diff and rear brake kit the other day. I have read in several posts to run 500K oil in the diff. What benefit with that give over the 100K oil that the diff shipped with?

I usuall run the truck on loose dirt, so would the masses still recommend switching to 500K oil?

Yes 500k is still a little to thin IMO but that's what I use
