Top Fuel 20% or 33%

Top fuel is always readily available at my local hobby shop while Odonnel and Byron are always in and out of stock. I have been running Top Fuel 20% since I got into the hobby. Just got a Slayer used and they guy had broken it in with 33% and it seems to run great with hardly any heat issues. Basically alot to ask would it be better to stick with 33% or switch it to 20% that I normally run?

33% is great for more power, but IMO 20% is better. I ran 30% and 20% O'Donnel fuel in my Slayer, and I've gotten longer run times with 20% fuel. I had more power with 30%, but my run time went from 20-30 min. with 20%, to 10-15 min. with 30%. Just my .02 cents.

Mostly, but it's cheaper than the 30% an my lhs. 30% is $27, and 20% is $22. Don't get me wrong, 30% or 33%, is good too, but IMO 20% is better overall. Hope this helps!

Yeah. While your here and replying quickly, I seen your screen name pop up in some of the Losi 3.4 carb upgrade on the TRX 3.3 stuff. Did you end up putting the Losi carb on your 3.3?

I ordered the Losi 3.4 carb of ebay, but it never came. Tried emailing the seller, but I never got any feedback. You can talk to Double G though, he put a Losi 3.4 carb on his TRX 3.3...

Yep. I can't say I like it very much. I've gone through 2 carb bodys because they keep cracking on me. I don't even know what caused them to crack... I didn't crash or touch them, I just went out both times to run it and it wouldn't start, or run very well because of air getting
in because of the cracks...

I have the losi carb and love it! Easier to tune, and much easier to start! No cons since I've put it on.
