I prefer the castle link because:

    1. I usually make one setting and leave it.
    2. I usually bash on the street by my house so I don't need to make changes at the track.

Guys who run at the track or make frequent changes usually prefer the field card.

Do buy the castle link extension so you don't have to open the receiver box to access your MMP.

MMP comes with a fan so you don't need one, field car or usb adapter is a must, it works good with stock servo, and spektrum rx, if you plan to run stock motor only need to solder 4mm bullet connectors to the motor.

    1. castle creations BEC...i gave you a bunch of links in the other thread you posted in. even a you tube video on how to hook it up.
    2. castle link...this way you can program the BEC too.
    3. you can run a fan, but i much prefer a good heatsink and proper venitilation holes in the body.

u CAN run a glitchbuster, but it still might glitch dependingon what novak motor you get. the BEC is 100% effective.

you'll need a bec...to answer the question you had in the other thread....the aux is the same as the battery. but you need to choose. either the fan or the lights....or you need a receiver with more channels. or you can run your fan off of a mini lipo pack. i did that for over a year. they weigh less than an ounce and will be more effective imo

the esc fan is wired into the esc...you'll need to either find a port for the motor fan or provide another power source.

if you want to run the motor fan off of a lipo, i used one almost identical to this one for a year: http://www.hobbypartz.com/32p-850mah-2s1p-74-20c.html

that should work quite well. that was the same gearing i used at my track when i ran the 5.5. i never had any heat issues...if your racing...you'll never need any more than a 2S. it's crazy fast on 2s with the 5.5

yeah, you'll still need the BEC. i've never not needed one when i've used a novak 550. it doesn't matter if ou're running 2 or 3S
