Has anyone put Slash hubs on a Slayer and mounted 30 series tires and wheels? I've had a T-Maxx for 12 years so I'm used to a large contact patch and like the look of a bigger tire.

Sorry for a dumb newb question, can you define what 30 series means? I guessing you talking about monster truck tires?
DeWalt 1/8 Summit, Slash XL-5, Slayer Pro 3.3.
Like Stampede tires, any 2.8" inner diameter tire.
Ok, I get it. The Slash 12mm hexs will not fit on the Slayer. The Slayer axles are 6mm, and the Slash axels are 5mm. The the pins on the Slash hubs are too small... But, if you can find a 14mm wheel hex, the tires should fit... But the body rub would be somthing terrible...

Alright thanks for the info.
True that. I just thought he already knew that stuff...By the why, you would need to lower the gearing to prevent the engine from overheating.
Also, the monster truck tires and big wheels will exert great pressure over the hinges and arms in your Slayer.![]()

Thanks for the info, I probably wouldn't of changed the ratio. I know it would be more strain but I didn't think it would affect it that much.
