    You could just go with the Traxxas Power up program at your Local hobby shop and get a VXL-3S ESC and Velineon 3500 Motor. Cost you $130. Mostly just plug and play.

    I was just researching this for my Pede. Google castle creations sidewinder 3800kv for about $120-$130.
