I thought about something, in one of the jumps with my Slayer Pro(not filmed) the exhaust header broke, and
now I'm thinking about building some sort of roll cage for the back of the truck, that will protect the engine
and the exhaust.

So is anyone has done this before? do you have any suggestions?

Wouldn't the rear bumper stop the ehaust header from breaking? I'm not sure why you would want to build somthing to protect it, when the rear bumper should protect it...

for your broken header check your clearance between you pipe and header make sure you have a gap between there in your couple. I had the same issue broke two header pipes in a week and realized my problem and ever since i haven't had another broken pipe. and that's with some 20ft jumps too.

I was also looking into making a cage and i was going to be trying to incorprate it into the front and rear body mounts with a brace in the middle that was going to mount with the screws for the side bumpers.

And those roll cages don't affect the engine operation because of their weight and all that stuff?
