Is it normal for a jato to rev high after speed runs it runs pretty good has a nice trail of smoke and the hottest temp it gets to is 225 It only revs up a for like 4 seconds and then slows down to normal

Is it possibly downshifting into 1st gear making it sound like it is reving higher?

Well it does it from a complete stop
I thought it was right after the run as it was slowing down. Not sure what it could be.

Yeah it will rev for a couple of seconds after i stop fast
Sounds like your LSN may be a bit lean...... Try using the pinch test to set the LSN.
Pinch the fuel line 1-2" from the fuel inlet and count. Once pinched the engine should run for 3-4 seconds, the idle should rise as it stalls...
Less than 3 seconds, richen the LSN, do a WOT pass and re-test.
More than 4 seconds, lean the LSN, do a WOT pass and re-test.
Then fine tune the HSN and then the idle screw. Always do a WOT pass in between adjustments. Always tune with 1/2 a tank...
Hope this helps...![]()

mine did that when it shifted from second to first.

Your LSN is to lean.
Easy fix.... Turn LSN counterclockwise 1/8 turn until you notice its not "hanging" when you let off the gas. Also the engine might be running a little hot. Be sure to regulate fuel intake for proper cooling. Hope this helped.
