Yeah I was trying to help you out. I put the handy dandy google to the test and couldnt come across anything. I know I have some 500k wt and the 125 or 100k wt in my ERBE/ EMBE box. Can't remember if there was any 300k. I meant to check it yesterday. I got side tracked with my 1/10 Rally & P4de. Plus a day off with the wife and kiddos.

BTW can't wait to see how the Lids come out.

Sorry, I swear the guy said trx 300k was ordered lol... Dad hooked me up w/that calc, 2 to 1 should get me close to 300k, but wondering if I should just put the 500k in to start with and thin it out as needed?

I have it sitting on my coffee table, along with the body for my eventual rally that I am supposed to send to kwitty for paint, to remind me that my current financial obligations, as soon as they are resolved, are backed up by my rc financial obligations... Its tax time now. I pay taxes, not get a refund. Trying to come up with Christmas, and taxes, during the slowest time of the year for my business= 100 hr work weeks. The light is at the end of the tunnel, and I am 1/2 way thru...

The wheels may be usable, but the tires are horrible. They were horrible in Jangs review and were like driving on ice. I may still get the 17 mm wheels and cut some masher 2.8's to fit them as I likethe look of them.

Has anyone tried the Leopard 13T motor & ESC? Seems like it would run fairly cool compared to the 10T vxl and they go for $70 for the combo. Throwaway when they do go I guess, but if they'd work ok with the stock transmitter and everything else in the system might be worth a try on my 2pede first and then maybe as a spare for the 4pede in case I blow it on a weekend.

Maybe start a thread about it???

Well I spent 3 hrs re oiling the 3 diffs, and rebuilding the shocks last night.
60wt/50wt oil in the rear/ft shocks respectively.
I mixed 100k/50k/500k wts to get 150k ft/ 75k rear/ and 350k center. Wont know how that will work till I get to run it.

About 1 to 2 wks till I have parts money so just doing what I can with what I have.

A bud down at yellow has some stock parts he is gonna give me, hope I get to see him. I may be able to put this thing together enough that it looks like something. My camera is bored.

I picked up some towers, arms, and assembled it into a roller shape. Have the electronics laid out also. Have decided to use a lexan chassis cover. I wont have to worry about heat with that motor on 3s, and my trucks dont see water... And I can paint it!

Now its starting to come together! That castle motor looks big when the rest of the electronics are in. Is there any reason why you aren't using the receiver box? Also, where is that rear body mount from, some traxxas nitro? Your build is looking good so far.

    Now the driveline

I had some steel outdrives from my evil bandit build. I used the old style 2wd female 1/2 shafts, and used the male hd 4wd half shafts on the front:

A guy at my small carpet track was running a tekin 550 system with all 4 drive shafts this way and never had problems. I figure I will try these on the front, and if they fail, just upgrade the other parts to hd 4wd shafts.

The rear are stock 4wd shafts:

Now to restate that I will be running 4-6s 1/8 scale 1800 castle motor on 3s. A milder than stock power curve with 25-30 mph speed, with no gearing/temp issues is my goal. The stock shafts should be able to handle this power no problem.

The rear body mount was from my erbe. Its a little narrow compared to the rear tower mount holes, but it is very solid. I took the stock rear mount and moved it up front. The body height should be close to level, But I have options on both the front and back to raise or lower to tune the body height.

My trucks dont see water. The electronics fit so nice, no room for the box. The chassis will use a lexan chassis cover. My only issue will be sealing the receivers open ports to keep dust out. Think I can smash some modeling clay into the unused servo ports to keep dirt out of it.

I like the mmp on its side. That fan may never come on, but at least there should be a "bit" of clean air under the cover for it to pull from.

EDIT: That motor is the same size as the 2650 kv castle. Same size can.

One other pic... I am not limited to this power system. I have more choices:

Its a 4pole 4600 castle for 2s, and a 3000kv for 3s if I want to run a faster truck. I have to solder on the 6.5mm bullets to the installed mmp, but have the other mmp with the 4mm bullets to try the other motors if the planned powerplant does not work out for some reason.
