Tyre/Wheel Combo for off road racing.

I am after some tips/Ideas on what the best Off Road (Racing) tyre combo is for my Slash 2wd VXL.
I race at my local track & with the standard tyre/wheel combo that you get out of the box find that I spend more time spinning out then getting anywhere in a hurry. Thanks for taking the time to read my post

What kind of track conditions are you running? But no matter what, these are probably the best multi-surface racing tire. These are already pre-mounted.

All depends on the dirt. We have a hard clay track that when it is damp one type of tire works and when it dries out, we have to switch to another type.

Then we have a track that is deep loamy dirt and neither of the types mentioned before work.

Then we have a track that is sandy and you need yet another type of tires.

Nobody on the internet can tell you what type of tires you need for your dirt!

My track its hard compounded dirt with a soft layer of dirt on top. The dirt is picked up easy and spat round.
Trying to take a corner at speed is useless in the slash VXL as its just spins out of control. So I need the maximum amount of grip on a super soft dirt surface! It's never wet. The tracks only ever used in hot dry temps. Thanks for the feed back so far.

I use proline calibers at my track. Best thing to do is ask someone what they use at your track and then try them.

Handling conditions from loosest on top to firmest on top:

PL Gladiators --> JC Subcultures --> PL Calibers

The description the OP gives sounds exactly like the conditions on my track. Always dusty and dry. Any tire with a stepped lug pattern will do. The Gladiators are a little more plush than the other two, so they bite a bite better in the loose.

How do the gladiator sc hold up on only street? I had a 2.2 set on my truck and I burned them up so fast.

Same tire on a different rim. The SCT version would wear just as fast. No step pin tire should ever be run on pavement/concrete.
