I think I want an entirely separate crawling system so I guess brushed is the way to go. The MMM can handle brushed motors right?

idb so...........
Would you go flip my truck back over??
this might be a dumb question but I couldn't find out what idb means.could you tell me?
Thanks

all good here is a few more, IDK all them either................hahahhaaaa
Terms:
BEC: Battery Eliminator Circuit
UBEC: Ultimate (or universal) Battery Eliminator Circuit
ESC: Electronic Speed Control
BL: Brushless
COG or CG: Center of Gravity. "Cog" could also mean motor cogging, but the letters are not usually all capitalized.
CD: Center Differential
MM: Mamba Max
MMM: Mamba Monster (Max)
MMP or MMPro: Mamba Max Pro
RPM: Revolutions per Minute or the RPM company
KV: RPM per volt motor constant
Y or Wye or Asterisk or Star: A brushless motor coil configuration. Looks like the letter Y.
D or Delta or Triangle: A brushless motor coil configuration. Looks like a triangle.
CC/CV: Refers to the Constant Current/Constant Voltage threshold for lipo charging.
CC: Castle Creations company.
LMT: Lehner Motoren Technik brand of brushless motor, commonly shortened to simply Lehner.
S, L, XL: Refers to the motor can length when talking about Feigao/Wanderer/Nemesis brushless motors.
S&T: Sky and Technology company - makes the Quark ESCs.
MGM: ESC brand.
AC: Alternating Current
DC: Direct Current
PWM: Pulse Width Modulation. Refers to the method ESCs use to send partial power to a motor. Highly efficient. Can also refer to the signal from a radio receiver to servos/speed controllers.
Rx: Receiver.
Tx: Transmitter.
RCM: RC Monster. Can refer to the main site, the forum site, or "the man" Mike.
LVC: Low Voltage Cut-off device to protect the lipo cells from being discharged bellow 3V per cell
HV: High Voltage
FET: Field-Effect Transistor. High current devices used in speed controllers that channel battery current to the motor.
MOSFET: Metal-Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor. Other less common versions: Metal-Oxide Silicon Field-Effect Transistor, and Metal-Oxide Substrate Field-Effect Transistor.
NiMH: Nickel Metal Hydride Battery
NiCD: Nickel Cadmium Battery
Lipo: Lithium Polymer Battery
Cap: Actually not an acronym, but an abbreviation for capacitor.
A: Amps. Electrical term for current.
V: Volts. Electrical term for voltage.
W: Watts. Electrical term for wattage or power. 1 horsepower = 745.7 watts.
mAh: milliamp-hours. Battery capacity rating. How many milliamps a battery can deliver for one hour. There are 1,000 milliamps (mA) in one amp. So 1000mAh is the same as 1Ah.
WOT: Wide Open Throttle
Forum "shorthand" acronyms:

Would you go flip my truck back over??
Thats a lot more than I expected.
Thanks
So from all of this I have come up with:
-Long travel rockers
-Spring loaded wheelie bar
-Lipos
-4 channel radio with the docking base
-2 speed transmission
-Telemetry censors
-Plasti dip the servos
-Water proof the MMM
-TVR/Summit drive shafts
-T lock diffs (maybe I can find/make a metal locker)
-Chassis brace
-Tape the tires
-Extended summit rear A arms (do they fit all around without looking funny?)
-A motor mount mod
-A brushed motor for crawling
-Summit bulkheads
-The XO-1 1717 motor
-The Mamba XL (can it run brushed?)
-An aluminum slipper clutch
These things aren't in any order yet so please give some input.
Just curios if it would make a difference to remotely operate the wing. I probably wont do it (not enough channels) unless I can find a way to link the position of the wing to the speed of the car.
As I replace bearings should I upgrade to ceramic or stick with the stock ones.
Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

no, not for what they want for a set, jmo, but you can run them it's up to you.....
Would you go flip my truck back over??
Just thought of this, what if I used a gyro on the wing to control it so when the back end goes down the wing compensates to bring it up again and vise versa or would I still need another channel to plug it all into?
Really what I should be asking is if its necessary?
Thanks.
Ive got nothing to really add
will be interesting & not real sure why you need it, first crash it might be all for not..
then again this is a hobby...lets see what you come up with...gl2u![]()
Would you go flip my truck back over??
So I just went to the ERBE page (for some unknown reason) and I noticed a price change, does anyone know why?
http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread...des-for-racing
In post two it says something about variable damping pistons, can someone give me some more information? Also in post four I think those chassis are pretty cool but would they be week or let a lot of dirt in? If not than I think it might be on the list.
Thanks.

Here mate...read post #32. I have a pic in that post so you can see what it looks like. It comes with a valve flap that you can instal on the top or bottom depending what you want from your truck. Mine is on the bottom for bashing.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
No more comments or ideas on the price change, chassis or wing?
