I turn on my transmitter then boat and starts with green led blinking about one time and then goes fast blinking red. I called tech support and the Boy I talk with said Oh that's a problem with my Batteries and they need to be replace. I tried to tell the boy that when I got the boat that I also got 2 of the Traxxas 8400 batteries and never used the one that came the boat but he would not hear of it. The next day I called the parts dept. to order a new 6518 rec. but he said I need to call a dealer and I did I drove a little over a HUNDRED miles round trip. The dealer sold me a 2218x.
