Brushless + waterproof = no crawling.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Unless you "waterproof" a sensored esc combo.

Not nessarily with a summit. A low kV with low range does quite nicely. A buddy of mine crawls a summit with a 2400kv sensorless motor. His setup is a leopard motor and a 150A ESC.

You can certainly still drive slowly with a non-sensored motor, but to call it "crawling" in the sense of the sport not just the act, is where sensored really steps up the game.

You can certainly scale rocks and the like with a sensorless motor, but to have control the whole way up and over simply isn't possible without a sensored setup. I don't mean to come off as rude, as I assume these words can very easily be read that way.

Sensored is the difference of night and day when it comes to crawling.
