NEW Proline Bulldog Body for Rustler! (Truggy style)

So this is really cool to me, cuz I can see huge visions of the potential of this body. This whole truggy thing is mostly for the stampede 4x4 whole Shapeshifter movement by Jang. Seems that Proline payed attention to the community. I love that..

    Here is is!

And Here is one for the Pede too... More pics on the Stampede Thread

    Way to go Proline!

Not into forward cabs much, but its nice to see the Rustler being supported so well by aftermarket manufacturers

Seems like a cool choice for someone wanting to build a racing Rustler I'd be interested to know if it really works well downforce wise

Now, come on Proline, give us a Bandit forward cab body!!!

I understand, the way it looks like this isnt impressive at all, and I feel like alot of people see it, and instantly kind of throw up. lol.

But when I see this, I see a Truggy Pede, with a Wing, a Real nice paint job, and the right wheels and tires. The Clear body provided, not the actual pede shown here..Shown here it is wierd looking, I must admit.

When I see this body from Proline, This is along the lines of what I invision....

I just painted a body about a month ago but feel that I'm going to have to do the same very soon...........

Anyone else notice the ridiculous amount of preload on the front shocks in the 3rd pic?

Yeah for some odd reason they do that when they mount bodies to a Pede. JConcepts does the same thing. We were commenting in the Pede section that they were showing off the Powerstrokes, ProTrac Kit, & their new tranny. LOL

I would definitely drop the body as low as I could to make it look better. Good to see some new bodies coming out though.

Where? In the rustler pics from bigsquid believe those are dirt hawgs, the p2de are street fighters. And on Absoloot's pic I am not sure, maybe calibers or bowties?

nvm found it hyper tt10! I wonder if that hole between the shock towers would work with the rustler mount location?

I was thinking about cutting out the plate behind the cab fins fer more airflow to ESC.

Looks better than the last one I think...I can't stand how when proline releases a new model they stop making the old one....anyways I don't like it on the pede as a monster though I don't see how that's cool

Here's the body on a rustler. Was going to mount a wing, but I plan on bashing it hard with jumps and stuff. That wing and mount will last 5 minutes.

Looks good, I like how low your body sits^^ a wing and wing mount will help protect the rear of your body when bashing.

Wings make for pretty good handles, too

The only thing about these proline bodies when trying to achieve that trugged out look, is that a) you'll want a wing & b) most truggy bodies stop at the rear shock tower. I can see how hacking off a lot of the rear overhang in the name of mounting a wing would look hot. and you'll want to get it all mounted as low as possible.

The HPI wing mount when attached to an rpm tower has proven to be extremely durable for me over the last few months and i'm pretty rough on my stuff.

I was just thinking that the body needs to be further forward. I have TRX aluminum shocktowers for this build and a losi 10tt wing and wing mount but haven't gotten them installed yet. I'm not happy with the looks of it now. it needs to be lower and with smaller tires. Anyways this is what the rear will look like

oh yeah, and I have that 10tt body frome above on order, imo it looks a lot better.
