update put a 4600 in there for now pairing it with a mmp for now. till i decide which one i really want to buy. got rec box in place and found a body that fits will have to figure out the post spots will be and will post pic. body is dhk optimus body

put motor in along with body posts have to clean up wiring but almost done

gonna do a test drive today running 2's not 3's geared 14/54 right now

ok test drove the pro 4 and like it alot on 2's but i just couldnt pass up the deal i got on a 2400 with the mmp running 3's geared 14/54 will be changing that after test runs. took me so long with the build i didnt loctite everything i should have will be breaking it down and do a rebuild to make sure i do that. wiring is a mess will clean that up also

Wow the green looks awesome. Very nice build. If you looking for orange or green bell cranks I see Steve just listed them along with the LCG parts.

The limited edition orange and green steering bell cranks for the 4x4 have been listed at STRC and also the LCG parts have all been listed at aSTRC for those that are looking for new bell cranks and or any LCG parts.

I have been super lazy as my new GTR shocks are at the our hobbyshop but I didn't order springs I need yet so I can get my 4x4 LCG Slash setup up better overall. Need to start working on that.

Just wondering if anyone has had issues with their chassis. I have seen the bottom plate spur gear cut out issue that has been posted but I have come across another issue with mine. The rear hinge pin holders that key into the chassis, the keyed part has broken off on the front of both and one of the holes in the chassis has been hollowed out and there are stress cracks around the outside of the hole.[IMG]

Did that happen from a big jump our just normal wear and tear?

No big jumps this is my race truck it sees the track and bench, our track has one "big" jump but you get less then 2 feet of the ground. The other track I race at is an asphalt oval so no jumps there and there is not enough speed involved at either track to do that type of damage.

turnleft327 The only time I have stretched holes on actually any chassis has been when my screw comes just a tad bit loose and then lest the hinge pin brace be able to move around some and also lets the screw act like a reamer. When this happens then I have had holes on a chassis stretch out some. It is very possible that they where a tad loose and on a 4wd SCT I know it can happen very quickly and easily and before you know it a few runs have been made like that and thats probably all it takes to possibly stretch a hole out like that. Every time I have did that to mine it was loose. I did rip one off a touring car chassis that was drilled very close to the edge and hit a sharp corner on the track. It was ugly. Lol

Steve has I think 2 more orange chassis setups and 2 blue ones available. Once gone no more orange. First week in August he will have more of the STRC 4x4 chassis kits in. It is possible that a slight increase in price might happen as the material pricing has gone up since the first run of these chassis's but should be around $10 bucks but still easily the cheapest setup around for quality LCG Slash 4x4 chassis.
