    Wire Drive

I'm upgrading to a wire drive .187 will this stuffing tube fits 9/32 although 24' long I have to cut and bend, they don't have the shorter one in 12'.

    Don't quite follow your query.

To clarify: the .187 drive is a flex cable. The .078 drive is a wire drive.
Are you installing a flex cable, or wire drive?

Was there supposed to be a link or attachment in your post? Your reference to "this stuffing tube" is difficult to respond to, since we don't know what particular stuffing tube product you are referring to.

Thanks Hog for the big help, I found all the answers on my query, I'll stick up with the stock stuffing tube, rocket city were in back orders, I was thinking if the tube doesn't heat up without a Teflon coating?

Won't heat if everything is properly aligned and lubricated.

So did you get it? Run the stock liner is Ok but bringing the stuffing tube down smaller would be ideal.

All you need to do on the 187 (cable) is remove the liner. Most racers now run only brass tubing...nitro boys did it for years.

If you have questions for a non-Traxxas manufacturer, you need to contact them somewhere other than the Traxxas forums. Support for non-Traxxas manufacturers is not permitted.
