    Whats everyone running for gearing?

I was just wondering what everyone was running for gearing. I was thinking of going up a couple teeth on my pinion from stock to bring my power into the mid range. Any thoughts?

    Gearing is different for everyone.
Everyone has different terrain, driving habits, weather conditions, ect.

The best way to figure out what gearing you need:

With a 23t spur it is going to be very hot.
Stock for a Revo is 50t, I think the stock for a Summit is 55t.

    Start with a 17t pinion and a 55t spur.
    Use post #2 from there.

I run an 18t pinion, gear on the motor. Stock is a 16t. You just have to watch your temps, if in heavy grass an 18t will make you run hot. I run pavement, short grass, and soft to hard dirt.

Your hottest temps should be 180F for both ESC and motor.
