    Front axles

I keep blowing apart my front axles. I have MIPs in the rear, sounds like I need them in the front too?

    Stock vxl on 3s...

Yup. When it gets cold out they will snap like pretzels. I had the same problem. MIP = no more broken axles

I have full sets of Mip axles on both of my trucks! I enjoy not breaking axles all the time. www.gonitrohobbies.com has them for $49.99 with free shipping!

****. 100 in axles just to run 3s.

Do the diffs in these things hold up? I'm afraid I'm going to blow apart diffs now with the strong axles

Service the diffs with 100k oil monthly

Just got home from the lhs with goodies. Picked up the mip fronts and the revo slipper upgrade. Get home and put the MIPs together and start on the slipper and find my bearing adapter is a blob of melted plastic and my bearing is now a solid state bearing. I was really hoping to get some runs in today, but it looks like it'll have to wait.

Which motor mount are you using on the truck?

I was holding out on the stocker to see how long it would last. The truck is about 3-4 weeks old but has probably 20-25 3s runs through it. I have a khz mount here, but I have to run to the lhs and pick up a bearing adapter tomorrow.

King headz and Gen3 slipper works great. The added weight of gen3 slipper really helps.
