I have a Jato 3.3. The stock body doesnt fit on the body mount studs. If you place it on the front body mount pegs, the rear holes in the body are about 1/4 inch past the mounting studs. Bought a new stock body, same issue. Any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

Check if your chassis is twisted/crooked or not.
check the same with your shock towers and body mounts.<-- If you slow down, you're a wimp! -->

The chassis appears to be level. I removed the towers and put them back on. Still nothing.

my new body is the same exact way, so i know the body is beat up but thats not it

Your problem isn't coming from the bodies.
I'm sure you have to check with attention shock towers, body posts, chassis, front bulkhead, trans case,...everything that could be twisted.
Last time I had exactly the same problem it was coming from a twisted chassis:

Thanks. Ill look again this weekend. It didnt look twisted to me, but maybe i need to remove all the parts to check it out.
