My Revo 3.3 Electric Conversion

Well i finally got all the stuff together to do it! This is what i started with

I have to give the 3.3 credit it has been a good motor , byt i got to go where the power is . These are the parts that i got tekno conversion kit . It seemed like the fastest easiest way to do the conversion .

I started by removing all the nitro stuff engine , fuel tank , pipe ,easy start wires . Then it was bath time .

I also decided to put a set of rpm true track arms on the rear i been wanting to install them for awhile now seem like good a time as any .

are you going to use the mechanical brake? 2nd gear locked? e-revo diffs? sorry for all the Q's

this is after i got the mount together and my motor mounted . this went together easier than i thought it would

then it was on to the battery tray

i almost ready to play !!!!

all i like now is esc ( by the way the esc mount is really easy to install just bolts rite to the trans ) what yall think bout my mamba monster setup ?

just about just bot to put servo back in and mount rx box where servo use to go on right side

what do you guys think ? this kit was easy to install no real major fab work of anything i took it out few min ago and on 6s this think is insane my 3.3 never went this fast

what kind of lipo batt is that, it looks tiny. wheel/tire looks good i just hope your diffs are strong enough with all that power. tekno electric conversion for nitro revos are very straight forward but if you have the black can motor that came from ERBE you cant mount your ESC on top of the tranny, the wires are too short so ESC requires mounting closer to motor.

it is there just some mini 3s bats that came out of my merv i kust put them in to program the esc and my transmitter also me new diffs are on order ,and wont be here ubtil next week . i just couldnt wait to do the swap lol . also whats the difference in the black can 2200kv ans the green besides color and wire lengths ?

yep, all the same except the black can motor can only be found off traxxas EMBE/ERBE, green ones came straight from castle.

how do you like those RPM axle carriers, i heard that you can take out the metal ring off the stock carriers and put it in there to prevent it from poping out easily.

i like them alot they can sure take a beating ,and the blue ones that are still on the front have been slamed several times . you think that i could dye those black to match my new rears ?

did you get the Nitro diff or the BL diffs?? or Carrier??

i ordered the bl diffs . i was told by several of the vets on here that when i converted that my nitri diffs would not hold up especially to 6s power

it takes a good throttle control to not destroy your e-revo diffs on 6s.

quick question guys i went to install my hitec hs-5645mg steering servo that i had on my first t maxx last nite onto my revo ,and i had forgot that hitec has different size horn than traxxas . this is what i need correct ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Traxxas-5345...item48473d31e6

Have you driven the truck yet? How do you like the Tekno Kit? I have a 2.5 that I haven't touched in years was planning on doing this conversion to it.

diffs... BL have the I or H bar in the carrier, to help hold up to the BL POWER.....
