Converting from brushed question and tips please

So I got a Brushed Version of the E-Revo the other day but its way too slow for my liking. I have a brushlesscombo on the way from Kershaw Designs. What do I need to complete the conversion? And where one of the twin motor use to sit there is a gap. Is there a cover or replacement part for this? This is my first 1/8th scale car so help gratefully received. Thanks

Here is the gap I am talking about - [IMG][/IMG]

Novak made a cover at one time. I used to run the cover but found a little strip of masking tape or duct tap works just as good.

If you wanted to, you could get the single motor plate, I found myself bending that dual motor plate on high speed and high impact roll overs.
