Slayer and Slash 2wd . The Slayer seems slow

My friends Slayer only wants to run well whenever it feels like it . Here it shows it, pretty sluggish, it wont stay on , he has to keep on the gas for it to stay on.

I can't watch the video, (stupid internet filter block youtube) I from what you discribed, it sounds rich. I would lean the lsn, but mostly the hsn. Depends on what fuel you are running too... Is the Slash a VXL? If so, the Slayer (sadly) will seem a little slow compared to the Slash. Hope this helps!

Way to rich lean out your hsn 1/8 turn run it hard then do it again if still a little sluggish repeat and when you found the sweet spot richin it a 1/16 of a turn to protect your engine from over heating. For idle lean out your lsn 1/16 and bring up your idle screw about 1/4. Tuning isn't easy or fast it takes time it took me a good week before i found the best tune.

On top of the tune being off, could it be that the throttle linkage isn't opening the carb up all the way?
