I really like it! The black wheels do give it an official race look! I have the same body currently on my truck. After a year of running it looks nowhere near as nice as yours

I spent yesterday afternoon tinkering with my truck, I got the gearing that I needed. I put 5 packs through it, both 2S & 3S with the Banditos on it. I was GUT LAUGHING the whole time! Those tires are GREAT!!! I have them on a LCG chassis, with the Pro Trac setup, the only time I rolled it was while spinning doughnuts! Full speed turns, hard acceleration out of turns, high speed cornering, WHAT A BLAST! GREAT TIRE! I almost drove the lettering off 'em!!!

I'll try anything once, maybe twice!

This is what the tires look like now. They have been driven hard for around nine months! They are good and worn but they still have good traction and hold the road great! I have already bought another set but just waiting for these to get holes in them before I mount the new set.

Thanks for all of your reviews on this tire, now just have to run some packs through my street fighters to wear them out and get banditos

You should be extremely happy with these tires! Proof is in the pudding, you can see how they have worn by looking at the pictures! Like I said, I already have a second set just waiting for these tires to get holes in them or just fall completely apart.

Impressive! Did you leave the drain/breather holes in the wheels or did you plug them up?

Those are beadlock wheels and do not have breather holes in them. I need to post some pictures of what tires look like when I am finished with them

I,m on the search for those tyres and rims so I can get a 3s into the 4000kv hobby wing although those alloy rims seem very hard to find.

Here is an update on my Bandito tires. I have bought a new set and mounted them on different wheels. The tires on top are a year old with several hundred packs on them. The ones on bottom have about ten packs on them. I still really enjoy these tires!

El Sob, do you get a lot of tire spin on the street with those? I have dirt tires, when these wear out (which will be soon) I want to get a set of those. Even with my trenchers when they were new there was a lot of tire spin on the road. Only on certain asphalt it would hook up for wheelies

It depends on the weather. When it's warmer out, they hook up and its wheelie city! When its cooler they spin. They hold the asphalt great! I am still very impressed with them

Are you getting any pushing? Even with the slipper and sway bar adjustments I am getting a lot of pushing with street fighters.

Yes I tapped the second set. I do see a big difference in between the two. The set that is tapped has a whole lot more grip! They don't slide as easily as the untapped set.

That has worked the best for me. If you put too much tape, it acts weird and it can break. Being funny, I put about ten on some Streetfighters and the tape broke all the way to the tire and then split the tire at about 80mph

Honestly I don't like the street fighters, you get a very small contact patch since they are rounder at the tread, so you get bad cornering characteristics.

Hey El Sob I love those banditos and wheel setup, I just bought a new slash 4x4 getting back in to the hobby after MANY years away Im still trying to learn what offsets are what and what will fit my slash 4x4. My question is could you please help me get the banditos set up on my slash 4x4 I have 12mm hex, all stock truck. What premounts with banditos will fit?
Or what ever you did to make them fit? Thank you in advance.

I figured it out looks like most SC wheels and tires will work

Well I suggest that when you buy a set of wheels and tires that you make sure they are compatible for the Traxxas Slash 4x4. Not all SC trucks have the same offset. I have my Banditos mounted on a set of Proline wheels. They get the job done and I am still extremely happy with the Bandito tires.

Sean1214, I used to wear out a set of Street Fighters in a month. It won't take you long.

These are the wheels that I have my Banditos mounted on.they are doing their job and I have no complaints about them. I got them from the discount bucket at my local Hobbytown USA. They are a choice. You can also just use the stock Slash wheels. They will also fit well.

    El Sob,
Did you trial (this whole thread) on softs or super softs?
do these tyres have stiffer sidewalls or flexible compared to off road? will they stand up to jumps? run stiffer foam if I was going to jump 'em???

    questions, questions, questions.
    watta ya think?

I run in the soft, not the super soft. With the traction of the soft, the super may be too much. Sidewalls are maybe a little stiffer than off road. The foam that they come with are comperable to Proline blue foams. They have stood up to all the jumps I do. Mind you I don't jump off houses or anything close to that. They have been and continue to be a great tire.

    Sir Sob,
Perfect answer. I'm convinced they are worth a try for the polymer track as I am sure will be very abrasive.

I think you will find them perfect for that. I went to my local track with banjoblue and they have an oval track there. It has a coating on the track and I was able to get up to a good speed around it. I was very happy with their performance and have been meaning to get back there to get some more practice in.

Of course it's the same tires, just different names on them. But it's the opposite, Louise tires are distributed exclusively in the US under the Duratrax brand.

For my Rally LCG, do you recommend aluminum wheels or plastic? Would I benefit from heavy wheels for traction?
